Exchange - Commodities - Business Analyst - Business Reference Data - Technology - Agile - Financial Services

Our client, a leading, Global Commodities Exchange is currently seeking a Business Analyst based in London (FLEX REMOTE/OFFICE 2-3 days per week) working within the Pre-Trade and Trading Technology team.

A Business Analyst is required to join an existing Business Analysis team. The role will predominantly be aligned to working with critical Business Reference Data but may also work across other Business and Data Service functions.

The role will rely on commitment, accountability, flexibility, self-motivation and drive to be an effective team player. The successful candidate must be confident and skilled in working with both business and IT stakeholders and will be required to collaborate at all levels as part of a Service Team delivering change.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Develop a solid working understanding of the Business and Data Service Team within the Exchange & Clearing Business
• Develop a solid working understanding of the Enterprise Data Model
• Build good working relationships with business and IT colleagues
• Attend/facilitate various ceremonies for delivering change

Highly Desirable

• Worked in an Exchange environment or similar domain with knowledge of commodities Trading/Clearing
• Worked in an Agile delivery environment
• Working experience using Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence etc)
• 3 + years' experience in a Financial Sector of delivering change within a dynamic fast paced environment

• Strong understanding of Business Reference Data used in Trading/Clearing domain

• Good logical & analytical approach to problem solving
• Experience in facilitating requirements workshops
• Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Demonstrable track record of good story writing and acceptance criteria
• Demonstrable track record of presenting to various stakeholders
• Ability to know when to escalate risks and issues
