Front-End Developer - Next.JS/App Router/React/Typescript (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: Up to £630.00 per day
 

I'm in need of a Front End Developer with expertise in utilizing the latest features of Next.js, particularly the App Router. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CSS, TypeScript, and HTML5, along with the ability to create efficient and visually appealing single page applications (SPAs).

This is an INSIDE IR35 contract that is Hybrid with occasional visits to an office in either London or Manchester.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize deep knowledge of Next.js to develop and maintain web applications.
  • Implement and optimize routing using the Next.js App Router.
  • Utilize Next.js Image provider for efficient image loading and optimization.
  • Implement deferable streaming views via suspense for enhanced user experience.
  • Implement React Server Components for dynamic Server Side rendering.
  • Utilize Next.js Server Actions for Server Side data fetching and processing.
  • Integrate with Headless CMS platforms to fetch and manage content.
  • Develop self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
  • Implement SEO solutions for SPAs using Next.js, focusing on Critical Rendering Path and Core Web Vitals performance optimization.
  • Implement CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects and maintaining a framerate above 30fps.
  • Understand and optimize the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services.
  • Validate user actions on the client side and provide responsive feedback.
  • Write non-blocking code and utilize advanced techniques such as multi-threading parallel async when necessary.
