Product Manager (Contract)

Location: Leeds Country: UK

My client is looking for a Product Manager with experience of the full pharmaceutical product life cycle (roadmap, pre-launch, launch, post-launch) to champion their portfolio of speciality liquid medicines, with a focus on commercial excellence. You will prepare, implement, and maintain a 'product marketing plan', and manage the full spectrum of marketing functions (product proposition, packaging and livery, promotion, events, materials, digital/print/social media) to achieve maximum commercial success.

The Product Manager will nurture the portfolio's growth by writing, implementing, and monitoring key performance indicators in line with agreed sales targets and objectives, guided by the product marketing plan and product pipeline launches. Delivering product training to senior stakeholders and other team members will be essential for buy-in and comprehension. You will also be responsible for the Quality Management System, portfolio product specifications and change orders.

Other duties include:

  • liaise with regulatory/PVG/medical to ensure materials development and approval in line with ABPI and GDPR;
  • produce product value propositions and model budgetary impact;
  • update product content on the client's website and app, and maintain digital marketing functions;
  • conduct market research and customer feedback to identify strategic market opportunities and make improvements;
  • employ Power BI and the product launch tracker to monitor commercial performance;
  • comply with Standard Operating Procedures at all times;
  • other reasonably expected duties as may be necessary to support the department and commercial activities.

The candidate is required to have a 2 or more years' experience in a similar UK-based pharmaceutical Product Management role, an absolute minimum of 4 years' work experience, and a university degree in marketing, business, or life sciences.
