Our Market Data consulting client have an exciting opportunity for someone who has had experience as a Data BA with good technical experience witH SQL and Python. You will be part of a team working directly for one or more of our high-profile clients. The role will be client facing in a challenging fast paced environment supporting the business with all their commercial management activities.

The successful candidate will need to have a 7+ years' experience working in a Capital Markets Data BA role with a good understanding of business data and technical requirements. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and our consultancy client can offer longevity in role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Extensive business analysis experience eliciting, validating, prioritising and documenting business data and technical requirements
• Produce detailed data focused user stories that offer a description of the situation, identify the scenario and document the business requirements
• Explaining technical concepts to non-technical/commercial teams
• Collaborate with technical architects and development teams to understand technical limitations and recommend development options
• Model and map data business processes and assist with the development of the solutions to address business problems
• Run workshops and training sessions
• Work with internal development teams to oversee the implementation of new technology, data ingestion, data flows and systems
• Help define and manage data discrepancies between service in a microservices approach using tools like Openapi, JSON Schema, Pact
• Data query and analysis experience
• Data monitoring experience preferable
• Financial Services/Capital Markets experience
• SQL and Python experience
