Role Summary:
SR2 is very pleased with a consultancy who have partnered with a major UK bank for a 6-month project. This project will be working alongside incredible consultants and work with cutting-edge technology within the financial space.
Responsibilities:
- Lead solution design for complex projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Develop architecture blueprints and roadmaps to guide the evolution of the Bank's technology landscape.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending adoption where appropriate.
- Support the development and future planning of the Bank's enterprise architecture, driving the growth of our Architecture practice.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in producing architectural blueprints and solution design documentation.
- Expertise in architectural thinking, evaluating design options, and developing abstracted views of processes and systems.
- Extensive experience with document and records management solutions, including migration to Office 365.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (eg, AWS, Azure) and their use in Banking/Financial Services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Experience with architectural frameworks (eg, TOGAF, Zachman) and working in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
- Experience designing solutions for cloud environments or migrating existing solutions to the cloud.
- Experience working in Large Enterprises or significant public sector organizations.
Qualifications:
- CITP or CEng or equivalent rounded IT experience.
- TOGAF or equivalent related business technology architect qualification.
- Membership of relevant architecture/IT professional associations (eg, BCS, IASA).
