Data Lead (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £350 - £400 per day + Inside IR35
 

Gibbs Hybrid is recruiting on behalf of their client, a world-leading IT services contractor, for their client, a top UK financial services organisation.
Experience Requirement: Candidates must have recent experience working with enterprise-level financial services organisations to be considered for this role.

Day rate: Up to £400 per day, inside IR35.
Commute: Candidates must be willing to commute 2 days per week to site in London, Northampton, Cheshire, or Glasgow.

Role Description:
* Support the development and migration of key reporting functionality for portfolios as assigned by the project.
* Manage queries between the Risk Information Service and report owners to facilitate report production during wider transformation projects.
* Ensure seamless integration of new systems and processes into established, Embedded, and regulatory reporting to maintain business as usual (BAU) operations.
* Collaborate with technology counterparts to ensure strategic data delivery through lineage documentation and data dictionaries.
* Enhance Reporting Ready Datamarts (RRDs) to accommodate new feeds and develop risk segmentation strategies.
* Provide support for account to customer level developments and offer context for metrics related to credit risk and performance.
* Document processes, conduct reconciliations, and benchmark with existing reports or Management Information (MI) sources.
* Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation, including report build and review prior to going live.
* Conduct peer reviews of reports.

Skillset:
* Credit Risk life cycle knowledge, particularly in reporting and MI development.
* Proficiency in SQL and SAS for reviewing report build prior to deployment.
* Familiarity with Tableau, Hive, Impala, and Hadoop.
* Experience in Credit Risk reporting and analysis.
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
* The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
* They should be proactive problem solvers, collaborative team players, and thrive in fast-paced environments
