Our private sector work includes assignments for multiple commercial/industrial sectors, including oil and gas, chemicals, power, food and beverage, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals. responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Interns are responsible for performing specific tasks and limited portions of broader assignments and will receive close supervision, guidance, and mentoring from experienced engineers in the office. + Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. + Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.*Minimum Requirements* + Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field with the intent to continue enrollment after an internship + Must have completed 2 years of study in the applicable program + Valid DL.*Preferred Qualifications* + Experience/interest in one or more of the following areas: hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management, green infrastructure/low impact development, water quality modeling/monitoring, coastal engineering and analyses, coastal science, and civil infrastructure design. + Knowledge of the following software: AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS.*What We Offer* When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future.
