This position is for an SAW/BAW Intern Design Engineer in the Advanced Mobile Solutions (AMS) Division in Skyworks' Irvine CA design center as part of a group of RF design engineers in support of high-volume sub-systems for cellular handset applications.
The successful candidate will possess a reasonable understanding of SAW/BAW or piezoelectric MEMS technologies and be a driven, committed team player.
Our SAW/BAW design team is responsible for designing and testing of SAW/BAW filters/duplexers and for co-working with RF module development teams in optimizing performances.

Job Requirements:
- Candidate must be currently enrolled in a MS or Ph.D. Electrical Engineering (or related) academic program.
- Must have experience with simulation/R&D experience in SAW/BAW/piezoMEMS for timing/filtering applications.
