Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and perform application implementations during non-business hours;
  • Support software deployments using tools like Udeploy, Jenkins, PowerShell, Python;
  • Serve as the highest level application support for identified issues;
  • Support Product Migrations;
  • Review and optimize overall hardware configurations, and develop plans to integrate new hardware and software components;
  • Assist in process definition, documentation and continuous improvement in best practices;
  • Develop and deliver internal training in selected relevant topics;
  • Provide technical expertise and consulting to command center and development teams;
  • Triage and prioritize customer tickets from Customer Support team;
  • Implement and contribute to the knowledge base, Wiki resources to help insure that indent information is current;
  • Participate in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices in order to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge; and
  • Develop effective relationships within and among departments and other Agile team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or 3+ years of relevant work experience required;
  • 4+ years Production or Operations support;
  • Problem solving, initiative, judgment;
  • Ability to participate in scheduled non-business hour implementation and maintenance activities;
  • Ability to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call technical support schedule;
  • Knowledge of Ticketing systems (like JIRA, VSTS, etc.);
  • Experience with various DB technologies (MS SQL Server, MongoDB, GreenPlum);
  • Experience with various OS such as Windows and Linux;
  • Knowledge of. Net Framework, ASP. Net, IIS web servers, Hadoop/Hortonworks, Messaging & middle tier, Pivotal Cloud Foundry;
  • Proficient knowledge of various Scripting Languages, PowerShell and Python;
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills through all levels of communication;
  • Experience developing and maintaining software in a Linux, Windows and JAVA environments;
  • Strong technical and analytical skills;
  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Ability to work both independently and effectively in teams; and
  • Candidates must demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
