Business Analyst (Contract)

Location: Southend-On-Sea Country: UK Rate: £400 Per day (Inside Scope of IR35)

Your new role
The Business Analyst will support internal and customer-facing projects and programmes. The role will be responsible for enhancing the quality of the council's products and services. The role will need to understand the organisational situation, understand and analyse business needs and challenges, identify future needs and create technology and data-enabled solutions to help meet those needs.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong blend of business and IT knowledge
  • Experienced in a wide range of business analysis tools and techniques
  • Good working knowledge of Use Cases, User Stories, Business Process Mapping/Modelling, Business Process Re-engineering and Change Management
  • Broad knowledge of technology, digital and data (including mobile, cloud, ERP, business intelligence, portals, web, IoT) and the ability to quickly assimilate new skills
  • Flexible and adaptable work style; strong demonstrated work ethic that emphasises customer focus, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Experience of the entire SDLC from requirements definition through to closure
