• Azure Infrastructure Engineer (Disaster Recovery)
• Manchester city centre (1-2 days per month onsite)
• £55,000 + 10% bonus + 10% pension

A tech focused insurer is looking for an Azure Infrastructure Engineer with experience leading projects within Disaster Recovery.

This is a great opportunity to join a leading player in the Lloyds insurance market that champion their internal talent and promote growth within the business. This organisation are extremely profitable with c£65m revenue per quarter, and technology is where they're to investing.

The Azure Infrastructure Engineer will lead and manage the disaster recovery (DR) operations within the tech department. The Disaster Recovery Engineer will work closely with Azure Platform Engineer and Architects to design and implement resilient and recoverable cloud infrastructure.

Azure Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities

• Oversee Disaster Recovery testing
• Create and update procedures
• Support Azure Platform Engineer and Architects in designing resilient and recoverable cloud infrastructure
• Provide guidance and support to IT Teams in all things relating to Disaster Recovery

Azure Infrastructure Engineer Requirements

• Proven experience leading within a disaster recovery function
• Hands-on experience creating and updating runbooks
• Knowledge of Azure resiliency solutions
