Desktop Support Engineer (asset management/administration) (Contract)

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey Country: UK Rate: £165 - £200 per day
 

The Desktop Support Engineer (asset management/administration) will provide essential IT support to all areas of this property business, with a focus on asset administration. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of technological operations within the company.

Client Details

This is a well-established company in the Property and Housing sector, employing over a thousand individuals. They operate nationwide, with their technology department based in Leatherhead.

Description

  • Provide technical support to staff and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
  • Administer company assets, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
  • Install and configure hardware and software systems.
  • Maintain system performance through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to the development of IT procedures and policies.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on various projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in the training of staff on the use of IT resources.
  • Ensure IT systems comply with industry regulations and standards.

Profile

A successful Desktop Support Engineer (asset management/administration) within the Property and Housing sector should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proficiency in hardware and software systems management.
  • Strong knowledge of IT procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.

Job Offer
