Summary:

The Senior Manager Marketing Analytics is a key member of the Business Insights Analytics team accountable for developing and delivering data driven insights to support Media/DTC marketing strategic planning and execution. This role will collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Brand leaders to enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and proactively identify opportunities to increase Commercial effectiveness.

Essential Functions:
  • Work with agencies and internal partners to provide strategic recommendations to brand and marketing leads to optimize key conversion points across sales and marketing channels based on quantitative testing and insight
  • Operationalize digital omni-channel strategies with the goal of solving complex unmet needs for our HCPs and patient journeys, improving relevance and personalization, driving growth, and advancing our commercial model
  • Manage day-to-day relationships and advanced analytics projects with sales and marketing leadership, brand team and other commercial stakeholders
  • Act as an internal consultant, proactively developing and measuring strategies to uncover business opportunities and actionable insights
  • Collaborate and influence both internal and external resources to coordinate cross-functional analytics projects to ensure innovative and thoughtful analytics as part of proactive decisions making brand more successful
  • Lead development, implementation, coordination, and communication of Marketing Mix, DTC Models for recommending optimal resource based on channel, cadence, and content
  • Manage story development and presentation of analytical solutions to ensure stakeholder buy-in while maintaining objectivity, and ability to validate results and challenge both internal and external analytic findings
  • Lead the development and improvement of marketing analytics reporting through QlikSense dashboards
  • Develop working knowledge of the data sets and act as a subject matter expert to navigate emerging business needs and the evolving data landscape
  • Comfortable to operate in agile environment, collaborative, and comfortable voicing own perspective

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Accredited Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years Pharmaceutical/biotech analytics experience, with 3+ years in commercial analytics role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing commercial analytical methods.
  • Advanced ability with Excel, SAS, R, or other platforms for data development and statistical analysis.
  • Extensive experience working with complex pharmaceutical data of all types (eg prescriber level, APLD) and from multiple vendors such as Symphony and IQVIA.
  • Ability to lead discussions and influence alliance partnerships on behalf of Lundbeck.
  • Ability to lead cross-functionally without direct authority.
  • Ability to develop marketing analytics plans to inform brand level decision making.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in an analytics related field
  • Accredited Master's degree in analytics related field or M.B.A.
  • Statistical training or statistical expertise
  • Experience with building BI reports in tools such as Qlik or Tableau
  • Prior people leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to move from analytics to business implications and make strong presentations of research data.
  • Ability to solve complex problems by organizing project activity around business problems.
  • Ability to think strategically

Travel:
  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 10% domestically. International travel may be required.
