Responsibilities

The Retail Pharmacy Technician assist the pharmacists in providing quality pharmaceutical care to all patients by performing technical duties in the pharmacy department, working under the supervision of the Pharmacist. Duties include rretrieving prescription orders, counting, pouring, measuring and weighing tablets and medications, mixing medications, selecting the proper prescription container, creating prescription labels, maintaining patient profiles, completing cash register transactions, answering phones, taking inventory of over-the-counter medications, being aware of the latest medicines and their availability.

Schedule:

You would be working at v arious WellStar locations. Minimum 20 hours per week, could go up to 30-40 hours as there are opportunities to pick up shifts at other pharmacies within the system as well. Secure shift every Thursday from 2pm -7 pm at WellStar Cobb location. We are looking for someone that could grow with WellStar into a full time position long term!
