A day in the life of a Property Claims Inside Technician:
  • Make and maintain a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with empathy; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met

  • Research and respond to moderately complex and occasionally complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues

  • Develop, manage and audit relationship with contents vendors in the Allstate preferred vendor network

  • Analyze content, pack out, pack back bulls to assess appropriateness of charges and detect duplicate billings

  • Develop, manage and audit relationships with mitigation vendors in the Allstate preferred vendor network and Alacrity

  • Analyzes mitigation bills to assess appropriateness of charges and detect duplicate billings

  • Reinspect or review vendor mitigation estimates, makes corrections and mitigation recommendations and determines correct settlement amounts

  • Analyze usage of mitigation vendors and identifies ways to improve usage and vendor partnerships

  • Assist in assessing unit needs for training and development

  • May lead or facilitate formal training for adjusters, processors or vendors

If offered the role, you will go through virtualtraining. You will receive ongoing support, mentoring and coaching as you develop your career.

As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license. If required, the Hiring Manager will work with you along with the Centralized Licensing team to ensure that you are properly licensed

You're provided with comprehensive training:
  • We cover the cost to help you study for and earn your license
  • We offer 3 months of full paid training plus on the job training for up to an additional 3 months
  • Ongoing training opportunities for continuous improvement

You're a great match for this role if you:
  • Have aHigh School Diploma/GED or higher (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of property estimating experience required
  • Have prior experience using estimating software like Xactimate for complex contents estimating
  • Value providing an effortless customer service experience
  • You enjoy the ability to work independently starting your day from home
  • View problems and setbacks as opportunities for improvement and look forward to coming up with creative solutions
  • Are organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Are known for clear and professional communication - both written and verbal
  • Are Bilingual and/or having prior military experience- it's a plus

When will I work?

Monday - Friday with occasional weekend duty

Compensation offered for this role is$60,000 - $85,000 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
